5 Tips for Taking Better Photos of Your Dog

1) Get down to their level

Taking photos of your dog at eye level will help you capture the most natural and expressive shots. It can also create an emotional connection with your viewer.

2) Use treats

Use treats as a reward to get your dog's attention and to make them look directly at the camera.

3) Use natural light

Lots of natural light will help you achieve the best results when taking photos of your dog. Try taking the photos outside in the shade or inside next to a large window.

4) Pick a good background

Avoid a busy background. Ensure the background is not distracting and does not take away from the photo's subject – your dog!

5) Have fun

Taking photos of your dog should be fun for both you and your pup! If your pup is getting bored or restless, take a break and come back when they’re ready.
