PET SESSION LOCATIONS

I’ve curated a list of my favorite pet-friendly photo locations across Southern California, especially in Orange and Riverside counties. If you have a location in mind, I’d love to hear it. I’m always open to new ideas! Just keep in mind that some places require photo permits or have specific rules about photography.

Travel is included for sessions within 60 miles round-trip from zip code 92504. If your location is between 61–100 miles round-trip, there’s a small travel fee of $35. For locations beyond 100 miles, reach out to discuss options and availability.

Not sure which spot is the right fit? You can find helpful tips for choosing the best location for your pet’s session HERE. I recommend giving it a quick read before deciding. And of course, feel free to reach out with any questions!

Huntington Beach Dog Beach

100 Goldenwest, Huntington Beach, CA 92648

Huntington Dog Beach is a designated stretch of shoreline where dogs can enjoy the beach freely without leashes. Huntington Dog Beach is not exactly enclosed—PCH is a busy highway that is easily accessible to a fast dog, so you must take the necessary precautions. If you have a furry friend who adores the ocean, is very friendly with other dogs, and does not display aggression or reactivity towards them, this spot is a great option to consider for their session. Kindly take note that, as numerous dogs often frequent this beach, it is possible that other dogs may appear in the background of your photos and cannot be edited out.

  • Best time: Any time of the year. Weekends can get very busy during warmer months. Sunset Sessions. Morning Sessions, if you prefer fewer dogs running around, Mon-Sun
  • Permit Fees: None
  • Travel Fees: None
  • Traffic/Crowds: Low to High
